I am a User Experience (UX) Researcher

helping product teams make informed decisions that balance user needs with stakeholder goals to create impactful, user-centered design solutions

Research Experience & Expertise

After graduating with a Bachelors in Advertising from The University of Georgia, I decided to pursue a UX career and enrolled in the 10-week General Assembly User Experience Design Immersive Certificate Program. Now with over 8 years of experience, I have had the pleasure of conducting UX research studies using a wide range of methodologies and strategies for companies in a multitude of industries.

As a UX Designer/Researcher at The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) Digital Media Branch, I was responsible for consulting with many departments to update their webpages to be more user-friendly. For this, I conducted in-person interviews with doctors and patients alike. I also utilized Adobe Analytics/Site Catalyst to restructure the information architecture of their landing pages and inform various design decisions. I applied my research and design expertise to a major initiative to overhaul the CDC's website template, which had remained unchanged for over a decade. With each site redesign, I increased site engagement and user satisfaction while helping departments follow the best practice guidelines implemented by the Digital Media Branch. This role is was my introduction to UX, and I knew I picked the right career!

Later, I moved on to UserTesting’s Professional Services Team. The team ran like an agency/consultancy, which meant I got to work on research projects for an array of Fortune 500 companies covering almost every research methodology you can think of! Also, I partnered with the product team on launching the Custom Quick Answer offering still live today. At UserTesting, I’ve had the opportunity to learn a vast amount, from mastering foundational skills to tackling complex challenges.

Currently, I work at Cox Automotive with the Core Marketplaces product group, where I’m responsible for Kelley Blue Book, Autotrader, Dealer.com, and nVision experiences. I collaborate closely with the product teams assigned to each platform, serving as their dedicated researcher throughout both the discovery and delivery phases. I primarily focus on discovery projects, helping teams assess the viability of concepts before launch. I conduct regular qualitative and quantitative research to evaluate concepts and designs, while also monitoring CSAT feedback from consumers to identify areas for improvement and new opportunities. I’m responsible for creating quarterly roadmaps to prioritize research needs for each team and sharing research insights across product teams within and outside the product group.

To complement my practical experience, I’ve acquired certifications that broaden my skillset. I hold certifications in LUMA Design Thinking, both as a practitioner and facilitator, which equip me to lead innovative, human-centered design processes. Additionally, I earned a Product Manager Certification from Product School, furthering my ability to align user research with product strategy and development.

I’m grateful for the lessons from my past roles, and I look forward to new opportunities to learn, collaborate, and contribute even more!

Mentorship & Community Impact

As a first-generation American, mentorship has played a pivotal role in shaping my success. This experience paired with a commitment to giving back led me to volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS), where I’ve had the privilege of being a Big Sister. The experience has been incredibly rewarding. Spending time with my Little Sister allows us to learn from each other and broadens my perspective on the challenges teens face today.

Wanting to contribute even more, I joined the BBBS Young Leaders Council (YLC), where I contribute by fundraising, organizing events, and recruiting Bigs within the community. As the 2025-2026 YLC Events Chair, I will oversee the planning and promotion of fundraising and social events, working closely with leadership and staff to amplify the organization’s impact.
